I'm done with anime conventionsfor about six months (the next one I'm planning on going to is A-kon in the summer) so I can finally put away my sewing machine. No more needles, no more thread, no more bits of fleece and felt lying about!  I'm going to sit on my butt and play video games and not have to worry about completing my cosplay! ~kermityayplz (https://www.deviantart.com/kermityayplz) Don't get me wrong--I love sewing.  But it's nice to take a break and not have to worry about deadlines. Also, I completely forgot to take a photo of the Pokemon barbarian cosplay I've been working on for the last few months.  Derp.

I'm kinda " :( " right now. One of my best friends since kindergarten (I've known her for sixteen years) has just moved about a thousand miles away.  We grew up four houses down from each other, and our families get along really well.  We both went to the same public schools, though we split up to go to separate colleges.  After graduation, however, we both moved back in with our parents, and went right back to only being half a street apart. I'm gonna miss her a lot. During almost every new anime season, I make a point of watching as many of the first episodes of as many new series as I can.  Not only does it keep me from missing a hidden gem, it also makes me appreciate just how much garbage the anime industry produces.
